IT’S TIME TO RELAX… IF YOU CAN REMEMBER WHAT THAT WORD MEANS.

Stressed out? With the way things are today, I guess I really don’t need to ask that question.  However, there are some ways to help calm yourself down enough to get the things you need to get done… done.

The first step to relaxing is to avoid things that are stressing you out. These could be anything from a person, to a situation, or even a psychological thriller that’s making you sweat.

The next step is to find ways of releasing your stress. Meditation, massage, and exercise are all great ways of doing this.

3 ways millions of people  give themselves some “me” time:

1. Breathe in deeply for five seconds, then breathe out for five seconds. Repeat this process for a few minutes and feel the tension leaving your body.

2.  Stretch your muscles by doing a series of simple yoga poses or stretches (easy to find on Google).

3. Take a hot bath with Epsom salts and lavender oil to help you relax and relieve muscle tension, or use aromatherapy to soothe your senses with lavender, eucalyptus, or chamomile oils.

I’m not saying I’m a pro at this…

What I can say for sure is: one thing that helps calm me down is loving on Nikki (see below). Petting one’s fur baby has proven to lower blood pressure and heart rate. I’m thinking about gluing her to my side so I always have her there to calm me down.
