“False Faces” Prologue

Below is the link to the Prologue of the first book of my new “Edge of Fear Series”:
False Faces.

Characters and references make more sense if you’ve read “The Justin Wright Suspense Series”

I’m looking forward to hearing what you think! (Positive AND negative)

Oh my gosh! You nailed first person. I may be a little biased, but I really love this beginning…and this is going to lead to an incredible story. I enjoy so much the way you write. The ‘voice’ of the characters is real. You capture the emotions of the reader (me). I can wait and only because you asked…but I am excited for your next book.

Absolutely love this already Rob!! Amazing. Wonderful start. And really do love the first person point of view. Love it!! Cannot wait for this series. But now how important time is, to pour yourself into it. You got this. Again! Thanks for keeping us engulfed in the Wright’s world.

Man, I can’t even begin to find the words I want to say, I’m hooked already. When does the whole book come out?

Thank you for sharing a small taste of your book (so awesome)! I really enjoyed the story line. I did however have to go back and reread the initial prologue again to completely understand what this kid writer had experienced and was currently going through mentally to get the overall picture.
There was a lot of heavy information devulged initially and my ADHD brain couldn’t comprehend it all at once. Henceforth rereading the beginning.
But, what I want to know is what was the back story of good ole gramps and the surrounding cause of his demise?!

Thanks for reading it, Trisha. As you can see on the initial page with the link, the Prologue (and series) makes sense if you’ve read the “Justin Wright Suspense Series”. That’s the backstory I think you’re looking for. It’s way too much to get into in a post, I’m afraid.

Trisha, I’ve never been a fan of “series” as I prefer “stand alones”. The Justin Wright series changed my mind. Start reading now! You will not be disappointed.

Wow! I’m hooked! When I read a good book or watch a great movie, I sometimes fantasize about what happens “afterwards”. I have been invested in this family and am excited to see that with this next series. “First person” is perfect for this series. I imagine myself sitting in a room with Daniel while he tells me his story. Fantastic prologue. I can’t wait for the series.

I was never a “first person ” fan, but you’ve clearly changed my perspective. My heart aches for your protagonist and I eagerly anticipate your new series.
